The Covid-19 outbreak put frontline workers in healthcare and auxiliary services under unprecedented emotional and mental pressures. Professionally, many encountered unprecedented challenges at work during the pandemic. Personally, many also faced especially difficult circumstances, including self-isoalting from family and loved ones, or living with the anxiety of bringing home the virus.
With an aim to deliver psychological support to healthcare and auxiliary services working on the frontline of Covid-19, Frontline19 was established as an independent UK nationwide service. It has a network of qualified and experienced psychotherapists, counsellors, and psychologists, offering their professional support. This service is confidential, and free of charge.
I have been registered with Frontline19 since the start of the pandemic and I continue offering up to 12 online sessions, in the first instance. Sessions are typically 50 minutes, once-weekly.
